The workshop on Greater Involvement
of People Living with HIV (GIPA) for the PLHIV representatives in
the state of Jharkhand was the first of its kind organized by JSACS
on 15th & 16th July 2008 in collaboration with CINI, Holy Cross, JNP+
and INP+ at Jan Vikas Kendra, Ranchi. The rationale is to understand
the importance of PLHIV network as a movement for greater and
meaningful involvement of PLHIV at state, district and block levels.
The workshop was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner(DC) Sri Binay
Choubey. The two day workshop covered the basics of network and
networking and GIPA.
